Charity S. Gore died in Palestine, Anderson Co, on 5 Jan 1919 of gangrene of foot and asthma. She was a widow. Born 28 Jul 1839 in south Carolina. Father was A. G. "Wilbon"; mother, Nana Murphy. Her address was listed as 409 S. Magnolia which was the same as the informant, H. M. Hinzie. Buried New Cemetery, Palestine, on Jan 6th.
Affidavit of Carolyn Thompson, dated 28 Jan 1991 made changes to the Death Certificate. Listed Charity as Charity Sevilla Gore. Her father as A. G. Welborn. Her mother as Nancy Murphy. Carolyn was a great granddaughter, living at 813 S. Royall, Palestine, TX.
