Parents said to be Moses Welborn and Sarah Halbert. Sarah a daughter of Joel Halbert and Mary Lindley.

1. Matilda Rogers
Married and died sometime before 1836 in Anderson District, South Carolina. May have been buried at Big Creek Church Cemetery but no marked grave has been found.
2. Nancy Murphy - mother of his children, married about 1836 in South Carolina
3. Dicey (Cooper) Ferguson, b. 1818, Jasper Co MS, died 1880, Jones Co, MS
Buried Olive Branch Cemetery, Brushy Creek. Believed to be the daughter of John Cooper born 1794 in North Carolina and he died abt 1856 in Jasper, MS
First married Angus Ferguson abt 1835 in Jones Co., MS. Angus died abt 1864 and Dicey married Albert Garrison Welborn about 1869 in Jones Co., MS. She died some time between 1870 & 1880 probably in Jones Co. MS and may be buried in this cemetery, but no grave marker found.
