Benjamin Pike

(Abt 1707 - 2 Mar 1785)

Benjamin married Jane Bundy by 7 May 1737, Perquimans Co NC; he was disowned by Pasquotank MM for marrying out of unity. She was the daughter of Samuel and Tamar (Simons) Bundy. Benjamin and "Jean" condemned his former outgoings on 3 Sep 1761, Pasquotank - apparently Jane had joined the Quakers.

There isn't a list of their children in the Pasquotank records. Only sons Benjamin and John are named in his will.

On 15 Sep 1773, Benjamin Pike Jr. requested certificate to the Pasquotank MM, but on the 10th of October, 1775, Benjamin Jr. was reported to married contrary to discipline
