Most of the dates regarding the Haggard/Gentry lines are inexact - births and marriages. Mary Ellen could not have been the mother of children born over a span of 37 years. The only exact date seems to be that of the youngest son, George William born in 1813. If Mary Ellen was in her late forties, then she was born likely no earlier than 1765, married say 1780.
There is always the possibility Mary Ellen was not the only wife of William Riley Haggard and was some younger than he was and all the children were not hers.
