p.473. August Term 1866. Petition file to sell the land of William Kirkland dec'd. Horatio H. Kirkland is of age and a non-resident, and Sarah J. Christian of Madison Co, AL are the only heir at law.
Probate Record 28, p.174 The above petition but states Horatio H. Kirkland was a resident of Fluvanna Co and Sarah J. was the wife of P. B. Christian.
18 Aug 1868 Deed Book JJ, p.66. The heirs sold the land.
