Lewis married Frances Richardson on 4 Jan 1764 in Cumberland Co VA. Her guardian was Henry Cox and he gave his consent. His estate inventory was filed in Charlotte Co VA in 1795. Witnesses: Mary Richardswon (her mother), Samuel Vawter, Powell Hughes.

In 1768, Ralph Jackson deeded 200 acres of land on Swift Creek to his son Lewis Jackson.
