Hi, Your James Marion Harmon's parents are James Dickerson Harmon, b.1828, and Martha Ann Cooper, b.1832. James Dickerson Harmon's parents are James Harmon, b.1797, and Philadelphia Dickerson, b.1797. James's parents are John L. Harmon, b.1767, and Elizabeth Byrd. I hope that helps.
James is buried Salem Cemetery, Eagle Twp, Boone, Co.
According to the manuscript in the surname file of the Lebanon Library, James drove a stage between Thorntown and Lafayette as a young man. Also mentions that they lived in Iowa for a short time.
