Caleb FARLEY

Caleb's wife was Gertrude Pickel - married 28 Jan 1781 in Hunterdon Co, NY. She was the Widow Traphagel (nee Pickel). They had eight children : Charity, John, Jacob, Barbara, Catherine, Elizabeth, Abraham and Sarah - some databases list a 9th child - Caleb.. He lived in Northumberland Co, PA. On 11 Nov 1809, he appointed John Farley, his attorney (possibly to settle his mother's estate).
The family Bible of a descendant has written in a list of the children in this family and notes that Caleb was married to Polly Appleman about 1774, and 2nd to Charity Pickle (the German nickname for Gertrude is said to have been Charity).
