Apparently she is buried Oakland Cemetery, Ridgeway, Hopkins Co, TX. Ann E. Phillips, b. 30 Jul 1823, d. 5 Sep 1885. If so, perhaps she had moved to live with her son Robert T. who is found in Hopkins Co in 1900 and 1910.

Curiously there is another burial in Hopkins Co. Eliza Ann Waller, born 1815, died 1887. Sulfur Bluff Cemetery, Sulfur Bluff, Hopkins Co, TX. Find A Grave Memorial# 72997785. A grandson of Ann Eliza is also buried in this cemetery - but this Eliza Ann is buried with her husband, A. W. Waller.

A Littleberry B. Phillips served in the Confederacy. Fold3 has several card relating to his Service.
From the Georgia Commission of Pensions: Enlisted May 10, 1861, Macon GA as a 2nd Corporal. He was assigned to duty as a 2nd Lt, June 12, 1862 by order of Gen'l. Bragg. A July-Aug 1862 roll shows him as a 2nd Lt, Returned to former position in ranks, Aug 29, 1862 by order of Gen. Bragg. He was present, Aug 31, 1864 and Nov-Dec 1864, but says no proof of war record found.
This may well be a different man given the age of Ann Eliza's husband - two L. B. Phillips are listed in the 1860 Census. - one in Forsyth Co, b. 1815, SC; one in Spalding, GA, b. 1839 (more of an age to serve). Neither of these counties is particularly close to Bibb Co where Macon is located - but Spalding is certainly closer. And neither of these is the right age to be Ann's husband.
