His holdings were near the York County Line, almost directly opposite Hungar's Creek in Northampton County (formerly Accawmacke) on the Eastern Shore, where his father had lived and where his sisters were still living at the time.
John Graves died intestate in Elizabeth City Co., VA possibly in Apr 1640 - between 29 May 1639 when he patented land in Elizabeth City Co., VA and 30 Apr 1640 when William Parry was named admistrator and a bond was made.
Another source gives birth 1615. His wife is listed in various sources as Elizabeth, Ann or Dorothy Perrin and Miss Perrin. He may have also had a wife named Susannah Unknown?
