Honey Grove - Cora Sue Wishard, 90, of Honey Grove died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 in Honey Grove Nursing Center. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, in Oak Ridge Church of Christ with Joe Wishard officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Oak Ridge Church of Christ.
She was born Oct. 6, 1913, in Fannin County, a daughter of Orva Reed Woods and Lura Anna Daniels. She graduated from Windom schools. She married Arthur Wayne Wishard Sept. 30, 1934. She was a homemaker and member of Oak Ridge Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Gena Mae Wishard, in 1996.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Wayne Wishard of Honey Grove; sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur Reed and Gene Wishard of Greenville, Bill and Helen Wishard of North Richland Hills, and Larry and Sheila Wishard of Centennial, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law, Hazanne and Bill Luttrell of Abilene; sister, Doodie Phillips of Southlake; grandsons, Alan Wishard, Kevin Wishard, Kris Wishard, Jeff Wishard, Lynn Luttrell, Mike Luttrell and Keith Luttrell; granddaughters, Amy Goggins, Suzanne Barrow and Shannon Luttrell; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and Robert Wayne Milton.
