1810 Madison Co KY Census he is age 26-45, as is Elizabeth. Children include 2 boys and 2 girls under 10.

Tract of land on south fork of the Kentucky River, being a survey of 3000 acres (two hundred of which is owned by Cornelius Bowman). 2800 acres is entered in name of Goodrich Crump dec'd and patented in the name of his heirs. Wit: Joel Frazier, William Stuart, Thomas Parker. Harrison Co Clerk, W. Moore. Clay Co clerk, James Love Jr.

15 FEb 1826 Kentucky Land Grants, Book T. 50 acres to Cornelius Bowman, Clay County on the South Fork, Kentucky River. Presumably his since his father had likely died earlier in the year.

Found on the Owsley County History and Genealogy Society is the settlement of the estate of Cornelius Bownman, deceased, 14 Feb 1836. Some of the information strongly indicates the widow was Elizabeth - therefore it would be the estate of this Cornelius.

Commisssioner's Report Appointed to lay off the Dower of the Widow of Cornelius Bowman
State of Kentucky Clay County To Wit:
We, the undersigned, Commissioner's appointed by the Clay County Court to lay off the Dower of the Widow of Cornelius Bowman, deceased, we being first sworn for the purpose, proceeded to lay off the Widow's Dower, and after examination of the premises, we laid off her Dower as follows, To Wit:
Beginning at the upper corner of said Bowman's land on the South Fork of the Kentucky River, running down said fork as it meanders about one hundred and twenty five poles to an elm tree, thence s 80 degrees running through all the land the same course, and to have from said line, the South and of said farm including the dwelling houses and orchard.

I, George Stiver, Clerk of Clay County Court, do certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the Commissioners report aforesaid which was returned to said Court at the Feb.
