Daniel probably married Hannah Edwards about 1745.

.....a son named Jesse born 23 Jul 1759, baptized 9 Sep 1759
.....Daughter named Ann born 23 Oct 1761, baptized 23 Dec 1761
.....son named Thomas born 15 Jun 1764, baptized 12 Aug 1764.

Daniel inherited 400 acres from his father's will; this was 1750 and Daniel was at the time living on this land. It appears to have been the 400 acres patented in 1732, between Lickinghole & Byrd Creeks.

In 1754, Daniel sold 400 acres to James George - the land inherited from his father. Also in 1762, Daniel & Hannah sold 100 acres on Genetoe Creek to John Johnson - the land had been purchased from the Hix heirs. He is not found after 1764. This would seem to be a blend of Johnson cousins. Daniel, John & Joseph being the sons of John & Mary Pledge Johson. Isham, David, sons of James Johnson the Elder. Bartholomew Turner, a son-in-law of James the Elder.]
