Birth certificate shows that he was born at the hospital in Paris, Lamar Co. His father was 40, mother was 37 - he was the 2nd child in the family, born at 4:25 PM. He was listed as Joe Ben Haden Jr. His father signed affadavit in 1949 that he was in fact Joe Ben Haden III.

Ladonia Music Class Presented
LADONIA - Miss Ethel McFarland presented her class of music pupils in a recital Friday evening in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Haden. the program included piano numbers by Mary Jane Fry, Mary Elizabeth & jessie Belle Minor, Clara Adelia Haden, Wayburn Stuwart and Mary May Jeter, Mar Lucile Cain, Rosemary Haden and Lylan Breedlove, and a song by Eugene Myrick, Joe Haden, III and Roy Stokes Morrow.
Punch was served to about 50 guests following the program.

Joe Ben Haden III, died 13 Feb 1982, Hermann Hospital in Houston, Harris Co, TX. He was born 1 Dec 1930, was married and was a Pathologist. His residence was 5310 Cherokee, Houston. Parents were Joe Ben Haden Jr. and Clara Fulton. Mrs. Joe Haden was the informant. He died of a myocardial infarction (heart attack) & hypertesion. The body was removed to Ladonia Cemetery for burial.
