Harvey IRWIN

(4 Sep 1834 - 8 May 1922)

I wonder if Harvey's wife was perhaps named Margaret Ann and she was called "Nancy" prior to her marriage. The marriage license gives her name as Nancy A. I find no other marriage for Harvey in Illinois, yet his wife was listed as Margaret in all the censuses. Nancy was the accepted nickname for Ann. Her tombstone has Nancy M. wife of Harvey Irwin.
