Elizabeth is said to have first married John O'Donald. The Newton Co MO 1850 Census, Benton Twp, p.347, Dwelling 349 does have:
John Odonnell, age 21, Farmer, b. in TN; Betsy Ann, age 21, b. MO; Mary J. age 2, William age 1.
Two housholds away is William Odonnell, age 55, Clergyman, born in VA; Mary, age 58, b. NC and Wesley age 14, born Ia. [Probably Indiana, not Iowa, in this time frame] I would think William would be a likely candidate for the father of John.
In 1860 John C. Dabbs & Elizabeth have with them their children George, Malinda and James, and four Odonell children: Mary J. 12, William 10, John 9, and Pheby 8.

Said to be buried in Jones Cemetery on Oliver Jones' original property. Graves are unmarked.
