Consider Tiffany
(14 Jun 1675 - Jan 1708)
In 1696, Consider was in trouble with Block Island authorities, accused of selling sheep that were not his. The matter was resolved.
In 1701, he joined a group of men who purchased the 1000 acre tract in Joshua's Town, Lyme, Ct, but there is no record of his living there. After Consider's death, his wife Abigail probably took the children to Joshua's Town to live near her mother Abigail (maiden name unknown) Niles Banning.
Consider did not leave a will, but his mother and others testified to his desires and his land was distributer, one-half to son Nathan; the other half to be divided among his daughters after the decease of wife Abigail. In 1727, Elizabeth had 70 acres at the upper end, and Silence had 52 acres in the old field laid out just to the south of Elizabeth.
