4 June 1860
With consent of her husband, James Hayden, makes her last will.
Item 1. To brothers and sisters (or their children to have part, if deceased) the sum of $20,000 to be divided share and share alike
Item 2. To brothers and sisters of first husband John Thurman (or their children to have part, if deceased) the sum of $20,000 to be divided share and share alike.
Item 3. To Mary Irion, Parthenia Brown, Phoebe Irion and James Irion, the sum of $3000 to be laid out in a tract of land by my executor, title in their joint names. My Executor to erect a house on said land at expense of my estate for the use of my three old Negro servants, Adam, Robin and Sampson, which I give to Mary Irion and Phoebe Irion to be supported by them. I also give to Mary, three Negroes, Betsey,Arett Green her son and her grandson; and to Pheoby I give girl America and girl Malissa, which Negroes and land I give in part as compensation for support of the said old servants. I enjoin them to take good care of said old Negroes
Item 4. My executor to sell my place on the Luxapallila (Creek in Lowndes Co) where I now reside at public or provate sale to the best advantage. Also to sell the Negroes: John, Milly,Calvin, Mary, Sam, Freeman, Allen, Rosetta, Henry William and Alfred. They to choose their own masters provided they may be willing to give a fair price for them.
Item 5. I appoint my nephew McKinney Irion my Executor.
Item 6. Residue to be given in my lifetime by direct gift or by codicil.

Codical. 2 Jul 1860
On 4 Jun 1860, a portion of my estate was reserved
Item 1. I now give to my beloved husband James Hayden my Negro man Alfred.
Item 2. My brother McKinney Irion to have my plantation on the Luxapallila where I now reside provedid he convey to my estate the place where he now resides without regard to either being more valuable
Item 3. My executor to make title to Cornelius Vaughan for Negro girl named Orry sold by me to him if one has not been made. Also make title to any other Negro I may have sold in my lifetime and not legally conveyed to the purchaser.
Item 4. Residue of my property to be divided as follows: To Parthenia Barron, wife of Cullen Barron, Parthenia E. Borwn, Elizabeth C. Irion, Cornelia A. P. Irion, Eliza L. Irion, and James W. Irion, each the sum of $600 dollars.
After the said sums are paid, the balance to be divided to McKinney Irion Jr and his children Bessy & Lucy, one half and to George Irion and his children one fourth part, and to Eliza Love wife of Charles Love and the children of said Eliza the other fourth part.
Item 5. If plantation is not exhanged by my executor, to be sold.
Item 6. The protion of my will for sale of Alfred by revoked and he disposed of as in the codicil.
