Polly Kelly lived with youngest son Ulysses and his wife Huldah. She gave her birth as Dec 1818, age as 81. She was widowed. She had 13 children, 11 of them were still living. She was born Indiana and also gives that as the birthplace of her parents.
Sons Henry B. and Allison were also enumerated on the same page of this census.

dear loving children I have onst more taken my pen in hand to try in my awaquard manner to answer your kind letter of October the 16th 1879 and came to hand quite away and was glad to hear that you was all well but truly sorry to hear of your great loss of your child it is hard enough to lose a child when it sickens and dies a natural death but nothing to compare with the way that of your went my health is not good I am nearly wore out both boddy and mind I am getting so forgetfull that I frequntly forget my neighbors Names that I am acquainted with your connection in this country is generly in common health or at least Nothing the matter that I think worth writing about at such a distance they apear generly to simpathis with you about the loss of your child Many had heard of it before I got this letter times in this country is tolerable hard as respects mony matters we had in general tolerable good corn crops wheat was not so good well Dear children I want you to write to me often and if I get so I caint write at all I will try to get some of the young ones to write So I beleave I will bring my short and unconnected letter to a close by subscribing my self your affetonant father till deat
