Born in Fort Lawn, he was a son of the late John H. and Frances Gladney Kirkpatrick. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a conductor with Seaboard-Coastline Railroad for 30 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Wilma Weatherly Kirkpatrick; two daughters, Mr. P. D. McClure of Rocky Mount, N. C., and Miss Bonnie T. Kirkpatrick of Jacksonville, N. C.; a son, Davis Aiken Kirkpatrick Jr. of Arlington, Va.; and three grandchildren. Plans will be announced by Hancock Funeral Home.
