The State, Columbia, South Carolina, Sunday, October 1, 1989, Page 14, Col. 1: Bishopville---Mrs. Wilma Weatherly Kirkpatrick, 78, widow of Davis Aiken Kirkpatrick, died Saturday. Born in Bishopville, she was the daughter of the late Hannibal Lee and Rose Lee Smith Weatherly. A graduate of Winthrop College, she was a retired school teacher. She was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church, the U.D.C. and the DAR. Surviving are a son, Davis A. Kirkpatrick Jr. of Fort Washington, Md.; daughters, Mrs. T. D. (Wilma) McClure of Rocky Mount, N. C., and Mrs. Roy M. (Bonnie) DeBlieux of Jacksonville, N. C.; and a brother, Liston A. Weatherly of Riverside, Calif. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Bishopville, with burial in Bethlehem Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
