The State, Columbia, South Carolina, Saturday, Mary 12, 1973, Page 18, Col. 2: Richburg---Marcus Wilbur Kirkpatrick, 67, died Thursday in his home after a short illness. Born in Chester county, he was a son of the late William Iverson and Martha Hafner Kirkpatrick. Surviving are three brothers, Fred H. Kirkpatrick of Rock Hill, G. Marvin Kirkpatrick of Taylorsville, N. C., and Clarence Hafner Kirkpatrick of Salisbury, N. C.; and a sister, Mrs. Sam J. Brogdon of Alcolu. Services will be at 4 p.m. today in Barron Funeral Home with burial in Union Cemetery.
