He was born in Chester County, a son of the late William I. and Martha Hefner Kirkpatrick. Surviving are two brothers, G. M. Kirkpatrick of Taylorsville, N.C., and C. H. Kirkpatrick of Salisbury, N. C., and a sister, Mrs. Lois Brogdon of Alcolu. Services will be 3 p.m. today in Barron Funeral Home in Chester with burial in Union ARP Cemetery in Richburg. The family suggests those who wish may make memorials to Union Cemetery Association at Richburg.
