Posted at findagrave.com: Memphis, Missouri - Glen Arnold Racey, 87, of Memphis, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Scotland County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for several weeks. He was born June 7, 1889, in Scotland County, the son of the late Joseph Langdon and Emma Arnold Racey. He married Lillie Mae McPherson, April 7, 1917 in Fort Madison. She preceded him in death in February 1972. Mr. Racey was a retired farmer and member of Mt. Moriah Methodist Church, north of Arbela. He moved from Arbela to Memphis in 1958. He lived at a son's home in Shelbyville for 3 1/2 years. He is survived by one son, Paul Edwin of Shelbyville; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and one brother, Robert F. of Malaga, Washington. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 today at Gerth and Baskett Funeral Home in Memphis. The Rev. Neil Dubach will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
