Baytown Sun, Baytown, Texas, Sunday, March 13, 1966, Page 1 Col. 8: Mrs. Sarah Jane Berthe, 75, of 200 W. Humble, died at 9:20 a.m. Saturday in a hospital in Baytown. She was born Aug. 28, 1890, in Polk County and came to Baytown 46 years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James Dix, and Mrs. E. H. Sheffield, both of Baytown; three sisters, Mrs. H. C. Smith of Freeport, Miss Martha Waldrep and Mrs. J. P. Magee of Corrigan; three brothers, Thomas O. Waldrep and Joe Waldrep of Corrigan, and Solomon Waldrep of Livingston. Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive her. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edmund Pendleton, pastor of First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Houston.
