The Bakersfield Californian, Bakersfield, California, Saturday, April 1, 1967, Page 31, Col. 3: Kirkpatrick, Baxter Lee---Services for Baxter Lee Kirkpatrick, 77, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Robert L. Jones Funeral Home, Wasco, with Alton Little of Bakersfield, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Mr. Kirkpatrick, a native of Cooke County, Texas, was born Jan. 15, 1890. He lived at 1601 Third Street, Wasco, and had been a resident of Kern County 32 years. He was engaged in farm work for 35 years. He had been a member of the Church of Christ for 60 years. Survivors include his widow, Bertha Kirkpatrick; a son, Lewie Kirkpatrick of Delano; a daughter, Hestell McKimmey of Wasco; two sisters, Nettie Matthews of Delano and Ethel Nored of Watsonville; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Pallbearers will be Ralph McKimmey, Otis C. Tisdale, Henry Matthews, Cresco Driver, Robert McKimmey and Wayne Sluder. Interment will be in Wasco Memorial Cemetery.
