She married on 30 April 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, to John Joseph ('Jack') Donnelly, an orphan raised by the Melaney family of Seneca, Illinois. He was born in New York City on 26 September 1879 and died 29 January 1957 at Keokuk, Iowa.
