Daily Inter Lake, Kalispell, MT, 29 Nov 1957,Fallon County Publisher Dies. Baker--Funeral arrangements are pending for Lloyd K. Lathrop, 59, publisher of the weekly Fallon County Times since 1952. Lathrop died at his home here Wednesday night, apparently from a heart ailment. Earlier this week he had been released from a local hospital where he was taken for treatment of influenza. The publisher once owned the weekly Valerian at Valier and had worked on the Shelby Times, The Cut Bank Pioneer Press, the Dutton Sentinal and the Great Falls Tribune, as well as newspapers in the state of Washington. Survivors include his widow, Margaret, and two daughters.
