Kirkpatrick, a 48-year resident of Crete and assembler at Thrall Car Manufacturing Co., Chicago Heights, died Tuesday, Aug. 21 at South Suburban Hospital, Hazel Crest. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Steger Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Gordon Reif, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Chicago Heights, officiating. Interment will be in Skyline Memorial Park, Monee. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Memorial Chapel. Mr. Kirkpatrick was born Dec. 27, 1921, in Sesser, Ill. he was a machinist at Flintkote and was most recently an assembler at Thrall Car. He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, F. M. and David, both of Crete; and three grandchildren.
