Chicago Heights Star, Chicago Heights, Illinois, Sunday, February 4, 1996, Page 13, Col. 6: Helen M. Kirkpatrick (nee Williams) of Crete, formerly a resident of Steger, died Saturday, Jan. 27 at home.
Services were Tuesday at Smits Funeral Home Steger Memorial Chapel, Steger, with Rev. Gordon Reif of First Presbyterian Church of Chicago Heights officiating. Interment was in Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery, Monee.
The former Helen Williams was born June 17, 1925, in Benton. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, F. M. "Mac" (Carol) Kirkpatrick and David Kirkpatrick, all of Crete; two sisters, Frances (Paul) Headley of Steger and Mary (Louis) Papitto of Stuart, Fla.; four brothers, Carl (Louise) of Ewing, Roy (Maxine) of Leesburg, Fla., LaVerne of Belton, Texas, and Shellie of Steger; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Her husband, Edward, died Aug. 21, 1990.
