Mr. Ham was retired from St. Louis Grain Co., St. Louis, Mo.; a member of Trinity General Baptist Church, Dupo, Ill.; and former member of the American Legion Post 485 of Dupo, Ill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Ham; his parents, David I. and Maude, nee Henry, Ham; and brothers. Surviving are a son David (Shirley Jean) Ham of East Carondelet, Ill.; a daughter Sharon (Cecil) Comte of Dupo, Ill.; seven grandchildren; brothers, sisters, cousin[s] and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 1996, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill., with the Rev. Jeffrey Brady officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at the funeral home. donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
