Posted at findagrave.com: Ellen E. Inman, age 91, of Mena, Ark., formerly of Poplar Bluff died Friday, March 21, 2008 at Mena Regional Hospital. Mrs. Inman was born April 16, 1916 in Naylor, Mo. to the late Clyde and Nora Hamm Hosfelt. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, in Mena, and had retired as an LPN for the former Lucy Lee Hospital. Mrs. Inman moved from Poplar Bluff to Mena, Ark. in June, 1997 to live with her son Jerry and wife Verna. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family, traveling and hunting and fishing. On Dec. 19, 1931 she married Alfred S. Inman, in Rombauer. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1998. She is survived by one son Jerry and wife Verna of Mena, Arkansas, one daughter Geneva Osborn of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and one sister, Sylvia Walker of Poplar Bluff; 16 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband two sons, Merl Inman, Sr. and James Inman, a grandson, four sisters and three brothers also preceded her in death. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
