Services were held today in Greenwood Mortuary in San Diego for Mrs. Nan Simmons Watts, 40, a former Bakersfield resident who died Wednesday in a Chula Vista hospital. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Watts was the daughter of Mrs. Lonnie Clason of Bakersfield and Henry Clason, Sr., of Ojai. She was raised in Bakersfield. She married James Simmons and was widowed in 1952. She remarried. Survivors include her husband, Paul Watts; six children, Crystal Simmons, and Shanna, Kevin, Lauri, Keith, and Terri Watts; three brothers, Bill, Calvin and Heber Clason, and a sister, Mrs. Christeen Fletcher.
