Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, Arkansas, Wednesday, August 20, 1958, Page 12: Widow of Lumber Firm Founder Dies. Mrs. Tolise Rollwage Grobmyer, aged 74, of 327 Charles Street, widow of John R. Grobmyer, died Tuesday at a Little Rock hospital. She was a partner in the J. R. Grobmyer Lumber Company. Mrs. Grobmyer was born at Forrest City, the daughter of Otto B. Rollwage and Virginia Anderson Rollwage. She had been a resident of Little Rock since 1926. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Survivors include a son, John R. Grobmyer of Little Rock; four daughters, Mrs. John E. Stanton, Mrs. William L. Tedford and Mrs. William S. Mitchell, all of Little Rock, and Mrs. John K. McLean of Japan; four sisters, Mrs. John S. Schlosser of Memphis, Mrs. Scott L. Kirkpatrick and Mrs. Norma R. Bridgeforth, both of Forrest City, and Mrs. Rollwage Collier of Washington, and 11 grandchildren. Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church by Very Rev. Charles A. Higgins and Rev. W. P. Witsell. Pallbearers will be E. DeMatt Henderson, Pratt C. Remmel, Will P. Pond, A. Howard Stebbins, Jr., Vernon Jackson, Lawrence R. Burrow Jr., Charles Witsell and Frank Lyon. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park by Ruebel Funeral Home. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
