From the Marshfield News Herald, January 28, 1952: Fred W. Brandt, 39. Stratford---Funeral services for Fred W. Brandt, 39, route 2, Dancy, who died Friday morning at his home, were held at 1:30 p.m. today at the family home. The Rev. Frederick H. Giles, Marshfield, officiated and burial was made in the Greenwood cemetery. Mr. Brandt was born Feb. 20, 1912 [1914]. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Brandt, Dancy, two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Serbella) Ruthounski, Peoria, Ill., and Della, at home, and two brothers, Archie, Dallas, Texas, and Kenneth, at home.
