Published Thursday July 01, 2004, The Janesville Gazette, Janesville, Wisconsin: WHITEWATER-- Mildred Enloe, age 102, of Whitewater, died Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at Fairhaven Residential Facility in Whitewater. She was born in Platteville, WI, on Nov. 19, 1901, the daughter of William and Lucy (Waters) Enloe. She attended Platteville Normal Teachers College and taught in several rural schools. She also was employed at the Shurtleff Ice Cream Co. in Janesville as retail credit manager prior to retiring. She is survived by 1 nephew, Gerald (Nancy) Buck of Racine; 2 nieces, Barbara Rane of Horicon, WI, and Shirley (Edward) Callan of San Diego, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Clyde, Newman, Jim and Mark; and 3 sisters: Florence, Dorothy and Marian. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004 at Fairhaven Residential Facility in Whitewater at 11:15 a.m. with the Rev. Herb Saunders officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Platteville with services at 3 p.m. The family is requesting any memorials be given to Fairhaven Residential Facility in Whitewater. Olsen Funeral Home in Whitewater is assisting the family with arrangements.
