The Californian, Temecula, California, Friday, October 17, 2003: CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA - Mary I. Holt, 84, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2003, in Encinitas of a stroke. Born Feb. 26, 1919, in LaFayette, Ill., she lived in Cardiff for five years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Riverside Illinois Presbyterian Church and PEO. Mrs. Holt is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ken Holt of Cardiff-by-the-Sea; son and daughter-in-law Alan and Diana Holt; daughter and son-in-law Christine and David Craig; and grandchildren Sarah and Ryann. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. today, Oct. 17, at Sandy Point Community common area in Cardiff with the Rev. Richard Matson officiating. The family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association of San Diego, 8514 Commerce Ave., San Diego, CA 92121. Accu-Care Cremation Center is handling arrangements.
