Galva News, Galva, Illinois, Thursday, February 5, 1931, Page 2, Col. 2: LaFayette Lady Dies In Chicago Hospital. Funeral services or Mrs. Irvin Ingels were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the late home and were conducted by Rev. Charles S. McClure. The singers were Mrs. Vivienne Reed and Mrs. Della Wade, with Miss Grace Hoadley accompanying, and the selections chosen were "The Old Rugged Cross," "In the Sweet Bye and Bye" and "Some Day We'll Understand."

The casket-bearers were L. E. Gibbs, S. V. Gorham, George Morris, Fred Orwig, Harold Craig and Lowell Jones. Interment was in the family lot in LaFayette cemetery.

Among those who attended the services from out -of-town were Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Osterberg of Riverside, Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. James Ingels of Peoria, August Osterberg of Galva, Mrs. S. Callison and daughter Jessie of Toulon, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. McKee, of Toulon, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dunbar and Miss Agnes McMynn of Galva.

Jessie Anna Cormack was born January 14, 1883 at Milingavie, Scotland, near Glasgow, the daughter of John and Jessie Cormack, late of Glasgow. She passed away January 30, 1931, at the Woodlawn hospital Chicago where she had been since January 17 for treat for throat trouble.

Mrs. Ingles grew to womanhood in the land of her birth, and early in the spring of 1912 she and her sister Edith came to America to make their home. She was united in marriage to Irvin Ingels, of LaFayette, April 26, 1915. To this union was born a daughter, Evelyn Mary, February 26, 1919, who survives her. She also leaves to mourn her departure, the husband, one brother, A. B. Cormack of Devonshire, England, and two sisters, Mrs. Edith McAinsh of Ottawa, Canada and Mrs. Margaret Peterson of LaFayette, also a number of close relatives in Ottawa, Canada and Scotland.
