Newspaper obituary with no newspaper name or address received from Jane Grubbs Sept. 6, 2017: Marie Kirkpatrick, 84 of 404 West 14th St., Christopher, died Tuesday, September 20, 1983 at her home. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born March 24, 1899 in Mulkeytown to Sherman and Eva Made Travis Watson. She was married to Harley Kirkpatrick and he preceded her in death on June 20, 1978. Survivors include three daughters; Mrs. Phyllis Grubbs, Mrs. Virginia Waller and Mrs. Hester Salo; two sons, Norman Kirkpatrick and Richard Kirkpatrick all of Christopher; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; a brother, John Watson of West Frankfort, and two sisters, Esther Pritchard of Florida and Pearl Rogers of Michigan. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents a grandson [and a daughter, written in by hand]
