Jeremy Burge, 90, retired farmer, died early Wednesday at his home on Route 8, 10 miles southeast of Lincoln. He was born at New London, Ia. In 1883 he was married and came to Butler county to Ulysses. He lived on a farm there for 23 years. He then moved to Lancaster county, having lived there 44 years. Survivors include wife, Mary Ita [Ida]; a daughter, Mrs. Nora Ketelhut, Walton; two sons, George C. of Lincoln; and Roy W., at home; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Burge has many old friends and relatives in this community. Surviving relatives here include one nephew, James White; and three nieces, Mrs. Ross Sheppard, Mrs. Robert Wynegar, and Mrs. Fred Pollock.
