James Franklin Burge

Daily Capital News, Jefferson City, Missouri, November 22, 1939, Page 4, Col. 2: James F Burge, 77, prominent St. James citizen, died in the St. John's hospital in Springfield Wednesday evening. He was ill for about two months. Burge has been mayor of St. James, served on the school board and held offices in the Masonic Lodge there. He survived by his widow and a daughter, Mrs. J. W. Weger. Services were conducted Friday afternoon in Licklider Funeral Home with Rev. Johnson officiating. Masonic rites were observed in the Masonic cemetery.
