(Ada Florence) Aycock, 77, a resident of Alice for six years, died at her home Monday night after a long illness. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church. The Rev. Joe Love will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, directed by Moyer Mortuary. Mrs. Aycock lived in the Rio Grande Valley from 1924 until 1958, when she moved from Edcouch to Alice. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Edcouch. She is survived by her husband; three sons, Tom Aycock of Pharr, C. N. Aycock and Harold Aycock, both of Alice; two daughters, Mrs. Allene DeBerry and Miss Ora V. Aycock, both of Alice; five brothers, M. K. Betts of Weslaco, Tom Betts of Rio Hondo, Jimmy Betts of Port Isabell, Nyle Betts of Edinburg and Ernest Betts of La Feria; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Elliot of Charleston, Ill.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
