The Herald, Rock Hill, South Carolina, 2 June 2006: Lancaster -- Mr. George Frazier Kirkpatrick Jr., 79, of 618 Gillsbrook Road died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at home. The funeral will be 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, with Dr. John Y. Todd III officiating. Entombment will be at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum. A native of Salisbury, N.C., Mr. Kirkpatrick was a son of the late George Frazier Kirkpatrick Sr. and Sallie Bankhead Kirkpatrick. He worked in construction as a welder and pipe fitter, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Richburg Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Alice Drennan Kirkpatrick; his daughter, Nancy Kirkpatrick Macdonald of Florence; and his sister, Sarah Dixon of Richburg. The family will receive friends after the service at home. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 990, Lancaster, SC 29721.
