The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, Monday, December 19, 1994: Richburg---Mrs. Sallie Bankhead Kirkpatrick, 89, of Route 1 died Dec. 18, 1994, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster. Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Shoals Presbyterian Church, where she was a member. The Revs. Clarence Fouse and Howard Wimmer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is 7:30 to 9 tonight at Mahaffey Funeral Home in Lancaster. Mrs. Kirkpatrick, born in York County, was a daughter of the late Egger and Ella Ratchford Bankhead. She was a homemaker, the widow of George Kirkpatrick and a life member of Richburg Eastern Star Chapter 213. Survivors are her son, Frazier Kirkpatrick Jr. of Lancaster; daughter, Mrs. Sarah Dixon; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Cedar Shoals Presbyterian Church Cemetery Association, Route 1 Box 28, Richburg, SC 29729.
