Born in Chester County, he was a son of the late Neil Malone and Sally Bertha Kirkpatrick Yongue. He was a member and an elder of Fort Lawn Presbyterian Church and a member of Richburg Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Frances Ladd Yongue; a step son William A. Sipes of Columbia; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Vinnacombe of Seaville, N. J.; brothers, Henry L. Yongue of Columbia, Malone Yongue of Charleston and Gladney Yongue of Fort Lawn; sisters, Mrs. Hattie Edwards and Mrs. Louise Carpenter of Fort Lawn; and grandchildren. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Fort Lawn Presbyterian Church, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Cauthen Funeral Home, Lancaster Chapel, is in charge.
