Richburg, July 12 (Special)---William Calvin Ashe, 36, son of Mrs. Macie Kirkpatrick Ashe and the late W. E. Ashe of Richburg, died this morning after a lingering illness. He was born and reared in McConnells. Funeral services will be conducted at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from Olivet Presbyterian Church in McConnells by the Rev. Ellis Oakes, assisted by the Rev. Charles E. Kirkpatrick, Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include his mother; two sisters, Mrs. R. H. Moore of York and Mrs. R. A. Darby of Richburg; two brothers, F. M. of Rock Hill and E. K. Ashe of Augusta, Ga., and a number of aunts and uncles, including Miss Ina Ashe of McConnells. The body will remain at Barron's Funeral Home in Chester until shortly before the hour of service.
