Willard Urtell 'Tell' Kirkpatrick

On the 1930 U. S. Census of St. Louis City, St. Louis Co., Missouri, Urtell Kirkpatrick appears with his wife Hilda and son Urtell Jr. Urtell works as a laborer at a public utility. Urtell was 23 when he married and Hilda was 19. The entry Urtell Jr. is incorrect it should read Willard Eugene Kirkpatrick.
Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, March 16, 1978: Willard U. Kirkpatrick 74, a retired farmer, died Wednesday in Poplar Bluff Hospital. He was a patient there since Friday. Mr. Kirkpatrick was born Jan. 3, 1904 in Wayne County near Greenville. In 1936, he married Gladys Dickerson. She survives. Also surviving: a son, Willard Eugene of Arnold; a half brother, James W. Berry of Greenville; and two grandchildren. Services were schedule for 1 Saturday in Gish-Bowles and Coder Funeral Chapel, Greenville. The Rev. Louie Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery.
