Abilene-The funeral for Mrs. Mary Bucheneau Cooke, 80, Abilene, was at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Abilene Methodist Church. Burial was in the Abilene cemetery. Mrs. Cooke died Friday at the Dickinson County Hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1881, south of Abilene. The family later lived at Beloit. Mrs. Cooke then lived at Lawrence and Kansas City before returning to Abilene. Survivors are two sons, Albert G., 230 N. Penn., and Robert, Wayne, N. J.; two daughters, Mrs. John Mears, Enterprise, and Mrs. J. De Marea, Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Kean, Abilene, and Grace, Los Angeles; a brother, Chris Bucheneau, Gypsum, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Martin Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
