Boldt, age 69, of Platteville, died on Monday, December 3, 1990, in St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center in Madison. She was born on August 5, 1921, in Rewe6y, the daughter of Irven and Margaret (Kramer) Ludwig. She was married to Maynard Boldt on February 26. 1949, in Platteville. They farmed near Platteville until 1960 when they moved into town. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She is survived by her husband, Maynard; two sons, Stan (Judy) Boldt of Platteville, and John (Barbara)
Boldt of Waukegan, Illinois; four grandchildren, Jane, Greg, Amy and Adam; three sisters, Mrs. Pete (June) Eckstein of Mt. Horeb, Mrs. Don (Lenice) Allen of Platteville, and Mrs. Don (Joyce) Ahmann of Dubuque, Iowa; and a brother, Orville Ludwig of Dubuque. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Earl in infancy. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 7, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Platteville, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Platteville; Father Michael Doro will officiate. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Bonin Funeral Home in Platteville, where the Altar Society rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. and the scripture wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
