Kirkpatrick Sr., 80, Ozark, formerly of Burlington, Iowa, died at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1994, in the Meadowbrook Manor Nursing Home. He was born Aug. 6, 1914, in New London, Iowa, the son of Dallas and Edith Hand Kirkpatrick. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Crowder Aug. 31, 1935, in Burlington, Iowa. He was a retired security guard at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles, Malta Lodge #315 AF&AM, S.E. Iowa Shrine Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy, June 30, 1975; and a brother, Dale Kirkpatrick. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Kirkpatrick and wife, Mary, Ozark, Robert Kirkpatrick Sr. and wife, Nancy, Lincoln, Neb., and Max Kirkpatrick Jr., Guttenburg, Iowa; one sister, Velma Bugg, Ft. Madison, Iowa; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Nov. 19, in Burlington, Iowa. Burial followed in the Aspen Grove Cemetery. Local arrangements were under direction of Harris; a Heritage Funeral Home, Ozark.
